In addition, companies are under constant pressure to reduce costs in order to compete. Hiring in-house professionals to develop and execute an international business development strategy is expensive and takes time. Chris Marino

Chris Marino is Founder and Managing Director of Fallingwater Consulting Group, an advisory firm based in Southern California that helps manufacturing companies with international business development and strategy.

Chris brings more than 20 years of global executive, sales and management experience to his clients. Most recently he served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Pelican Products, a leading manufacturer of flashlights, portable lighting systems and technical packaging products used in a variety of professional and consumer market segments.

Prior to that role, he served as Managing Director of their Europe, Middle East & Africa operations based in Barcelona, Spain, as well as International Sales Manager for Asia & Latin America.

Chris has also served in several business development and export sales management positions at companies that include Meade Instruments, Procom Technology and Instrument Specialties.

The professional organizations he is involved with include the District Export Council of So. California, Institute of Management Consultants, Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, ProVisors and South Bay Entrepreneurial Center. Chris is a credentialed NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional and serves on the CGBP Governance Council as Item Review Chair. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and has language abilities in English, Spanish and French.
